How do i turn off the Airbag warning light in a Ford Fiesta Encore?

Hi all, my airbag warning light flashes intermittedly now and again. Normally opening/closing the boot/bonnet clears it until i pass over bumps etc in the road. So perhaps a loose connection!?! Just wondering if there is a way to turn it off (i use the car for tiny journeys, so not fussed about having a working airbag). Is there a fuse linked directly to the airbag system?

Did you know that most accidents happen within 20 mins of home!
Check your fuses to make sure they are all snug in there. Also check the owners manual to see if there is a reset for it.

Perhaps you should try driving better.

check owners manual,or call a ford dealer they are pretty nice they will answer your question if you are patient and polite if they are not real busy
