i was driving and i noticed that the airbag light keeps flashing and wont stop. how can i fix it?
if i take it to the dealer how much am i looking to spend?

You need to take your car to a Nissan dealership and have them check the airbag system. Do not keep driving it because there is a fault in the airbag system it may not work properly in case of an accident.

Air bag warning light flashing indicates there is a fault in the system it could be the sterio shop turned on the radio with the air bag lamp disconnected or your high heel shoes knocked off a connector under the seat. Any way the air bag codes cannot be read with a generic code checker and explosive air bag parts should be handled at the Nissan Dealership.
P.S. there is a occupant air bag reprogram (recall) for that car and several other recalls make sure you have the dealership check and preform those while your car is in the shop. If you purchased extended warranty now is the time it will pay off. Air bag hard parts are expensive and extended warranty will pay for the one or two days of rent car.

Here’s a site that will explain everything you need to know about airbag systems, airbag lights and resetting the system. It shows you the location of the components and the procedure for diagnosing and resetting airbag lights. Not all vehicles need everything replaced.
You can check to see if your car is listed here.

Airbagsolutions.com also has the fault code charts to tell you what is wrong and how to fix it!
Some vehicle manufacturers let you access and reset systems without a scanner (like Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infinity, Honda, Acura, Ford, Lincoln, Mazda & Mercury) and some require a scan tool.
Although it’s a pay site ($14.95/day), it’s a lot cheaper than going to the dealer

Here’s the page in this site that tells you which cars need a scan tool and which ones can be done without
    I hope I’ve helped you
