Airbag light illuminate on car desk board?

Hi guys I’ve mini copper 02 plate. Recently the airbag light is illuminating on my desk board. does any1 knows how to fix this or do I have to see BMW’s garage. Cheerssssssssss
It can be anything from a bad connection to a faulty airbag and your car needs to go to the dealer to be sorted.

Uh oh. Get your wallet out. You may have a few faulty components. Most likely to be the CIM on the steering column, but could be a front mounted crash sensor, steering wheel itself, or the airbag unit, maybe a seatbelt pretensioner…
Have you had the car valeted recently? If so, look under the seats for wet or disturbed connections. Try unplugging them and drying them off, then reconnecting. Then start the engine to see if the light goes off.
If no joy you will need to get it plugged into a diagnostic tester at MINI or and good local independent. This costs money, as does the repair once they find out the cause.
