If the light is on, the system is disarmed. It wont "blow out" in an accident. The flashing is a trouble code. Go to a mechanic for the proper repair, or just deal with the light on and the "SIR" (Supplemental Inflatable Restraint) system deactivated

This means "poor ground on all D sensors". There are three (left, right and center). Follow the safety requirements for checking the wiring harness.
