UPDATE: Okay, so now that some time has passed I have learned the BCM must be reprogrammed by the dealer to match your car. This is why the car was out of whack when I started it. The car was never driven anywhere (if it doesn’t idle right, it shouldn’t move IMO).

Even if you have the same part # for the BCM, it needs to be reprogrammed. I was fortunate enough after some later diagnosis to fix the issues I was having with the car in a much cheaper and simpler way.
