my 2007 altima has a flashing airbag light what does this mean?

Posted by admin

i was driving and i noticed that the airbag light keeps flashing and wont stop. how can i fix it?

You probably have a malfunctioning sensor. You can try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect and see if it goes off. If the problem still exists, the light will come back on and should be seen by a professional. A body shop would be able to help you.

2012 Mazda 6 airbag/seatbelt light flashing?

Posted by admin

I recently purchased a used 2010 Mazda 6. Today I noticed that the Airbag/seatbelt light started flashing on and off. What is it? How did I do it?

Well, you have a warranty. Take it in. No one on here can tell you what is wrong. Just take it to a Mazda Dealership.

The light may mean there’s an issue with the airbag so take it in!

2006 Ford Crown Victoria airbag light flashing 9-9?

Posted by admin

i have a 06 cvpi with an air bag light flashing 9-9. i think my car didnt come with seats with air bags in them due to the fact there was no side air bag crash sensors. i add;ed seats with air bags being that they were the only ones i could find. i also just installed side crash sensors on the ‘b’ pillar. but the air bag light still falshes 9-9.. anybody with ford experience would be great espeically if you have incountered this problem..do i have to take it to the dealer to have them reset the system or is there something else i need to do. can i reset the system with my scan tool at work..

Sorry about your car.
On most vehicles, the airbag light should come on for @6 seconds, and then go off if the system is working properly. If there is a fault or a problem in the system, the light will remain illuminated, or flash continuously. If the airbag light does not work properly, some vehicles have an audible tone that sounds indicating a problem with the airbag light system. When the light is on (or the tone is sounding), the airbag will NOT deploy, even in an accident. The flashing light on your car is telling there is a problem. On some vehicles, the light is flashing a two digit code. Your vehicle does NOT require a scan tool for the proper diagnosis.
Airbagsolutions.com has the fault code charts to tell you what is wrong! Although it’s a pay site ($14.95/day), it’s a lot cheaper than going to the dealer. A subscription through the website will give you the procedure for diagnosing and resetting airbag light.
This site that will explain everything you need to know about airbag lights and resetting the system. Once you know the code, you can may be able to repair it yourself. There are fairly easy procedures that most people are capable of repairing.
