The service light and airbag light go on and off whilst driving, sometimes off for a while but then come back on again, why would it be doing this? The front brakes need replacing and this is being done next week, could it be something to do with that? Have only had van a couple of weeks and runs fine, no stuttering, smoking or engine problems.
with the airbag problem. under ther drivers seat is a plug connector it works the air bag to the seat belt this is a known problem and have had it happen to me on a berlingo. Make sure there firmly pushed together, put the key in the ignition and see if it goes out. hope it solves it.
This is a 2009 Nissan GTR that we installed 2 JL Audio W7AE 8’s in a fiber glass mold in the rear center console, Jl Audio HD750.1 & HD 600.4, JL C5 3 Components in the doors, JL C5 mid range center channel, and JL C2’s in the rear deck. We ran it off the factory system using a JL clean sweep and a Jl Signal summing device. We also made a few cosmetic changes to rid of all the traces of the previous BOSE set up. The subwoofers are in a dual chamber box the blows through from the back seat to the trunk. We also installed a TSUNAMI 5 farad competition capacitor. The whole system was ran with all JL wiring from front to back. This is an eleven speaker system that sound insane, deep bass notes, with pure mids and highs, very proud of this project, we hope you enjoy the video. Also, the orignal parts and pieces are flawless and can be re installed in a matter of moments, everything was preserved on the whole install, no metal cutting, no sacrificing, as clean as can be & and I was able to reset the Nissan airbag light with no problem, ask me if you need help on any NEW Nissan. Sorry about the quality but I had only 10 minutes before if was getting picked up and my phone camera isnt the best.

the light tells you there is a problem somewhere in that circuit, get it checked by a qualified mechanic asap, as this could be a potentially life threatening situation…

The airbag light in the dashboard stays blinking all the time ( when the engine is on ), if I remove the fuse the light stays on, there is a charge of about $ 800 to replace the damaged module at nissan dealership, wich I don’t want to pay, is there any safe way to turn it completely off?, thanks.
With the battery ground cable disconnected, connect air bag module connector.
Ensure no one is inside of the vehicle, then connect battery ground cable.
Turn ignition switch to the ON position and observe SRS warning light.
SRS warning light should illuminate for approximately seven seconds,then turn off and remain off for at least 45 seconds. This indicates SRS is functioning properly.
If SRS warning light does not respond as indicated, a malfunction in the SRS is indicated.
