does anyone know how i can turn it off or any ideal where the problem could be regards wayne

Take it to a body shop or back to the dealer where you got it from. The flashing light indicates that there is a fault in the srs system AKA airbag system. It could be something such as a loose wire or a bad module or even a missing air bag. A body shop will have the proper equipment to diagnose and repair this issue for you

I tripped the SRS light by starting the car with the airbag disconnected. I reconnected and now the light is always on. HAve tried grounding pin 30 on the connector, disconnecting battery, etc. But the hard code wont clear without a device.

Will this work or is it only for minor codes?

No both of these are for check engine lights. You may need to pay someone to turn it off.

Is there any way i can manually reset the fault code knowing this? Without special equipment?

When I had the airbag taken out and the instrument panel out I started the car. Now after connecting everything the srs light does not go out. I was told this is because I turned the car on with everything disconnected.

The airbag controle module must be re-programmed. you must take it to the dealership for that.

How can I reset the srs fault code without a fault code reset tool?

You can’t , you have to hook it up to a scanner and clear the fault code or codes .The control unit picked up a an interruption in the air bag circuit and it is a hard code which means disconnecting the battery to clear the code will not work . keep in mind that since there is a stored code in the system , the air bag has been deactivated and will not deploy in the event of an accident so you should have it done . you do not need to visit the dealership but you do need to find a shop with the proper equipment
