   It has detected a deployment so you need to replace the deployed bag. Only a service center, Body SHop or Dealer can do this work

   Thats really odd that the passenger side went off but not the drivers. To turn the light off you will have to replace the air bag and the air bag computer controller. The system can tell the passenger side airbag is deployed and will continue to light the airbag light untill the pieces of the system that have been activated are replaced. You currently have no air bag system. If you were in a crash your drivers side airbag will not work now. You should get the system serviced. You can find parts at a discount on ebay but you will need a qualified person to install them. If your just annoyed by the light, put a piece of black tape over the area where the light is located.

   YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THE AIR BAG THAT DEPLOYED ,THE CRASH SENSOR,AND POSSIBLY THE MODULE,BY NO MEANS DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE AIR BAG YOU COULD BE SERIOUSLY HURT!!!!LEAVE IT FOR THE PROFESIONALS,YOU CAN STILL DRIVE IT WITH THE LIGHT ON IT JUST MEANS THE SISTEM IS DEACTIVATED UNTIL REPAIRS ARE PERFORMED.

   With the "air bag" light on, nothing will deploy (this doesn’t mean the driver side can’t, it is still considered a potential hazard) but as mentioned before, why didn’t it? To get the system back to working order, you are looking at a lot of money, crash sensors, SRS module, Passenger side air bag, a complete diagnoses to find out why the drivers side did not go off, and any thing else that might pop up (no pun intended)
