Just a wax job done on my car. Paste wax is better as you can see but its more work as well. Spray on wax is good and kills time but its not as good as paste. Paste does a better job protecting it against water or rain.

1995 Escort Airbag Warning Light Code

This is a video of my instrument cluster og my 1995 escort. The airbag light flashes 5 times then pause then flashes then once then 5 times again. Its a code its flashing but not sure what the code can be. If anyone has any ideas on how to reset it, please feel free to commit on this video.

Two – 3 to 5 ohm resistors should work

Bend each one into a U shape and jam it into the end of the airbag plug under the seat.

The light will come on when you start the car then go off after a few seconds once it sees the correct resistance.

Just thought i would post how it runs. So far so good, just a couple little things I need to figure out like the airbag light and an occasionaly SES light for the fuel vapor solenoid. No biggie.

Peugeot 306 XLtd P reg cold start

Just got this as replacement for the 306 D L reg. Much better condition and newer overall. No rust, galvanised body and a working tacho!

This is a cold start. Hasn’t been run for about 22 hours. 1 glow plug is out hence the smoking and slight spluttering. Still has no problems starting.

5 seconds on the glow plugs of the normal 7-10 (takes 3 seconds to enter the pin code to start it!)

Airbag light is on because the wiring harness under the passenger seat is broken. It doesn’t affect the airbags ability to deploy in a crash.
